Arrival Time & Check-Out Times
Arrival time for daily rental is 15 minutes before the reserved start time. Check-out time is immediately at the end of the reserved time, but feel free to enjoy the grounds once you have vacated your cottage, for up to another hour. Arrival time for overnight rental is 2pm, and the check-out time is at 11am. Again, feel free to enjoy the grounds after check-out time until 3pm.

Deposit, Payment and Cancellation Policies
A one-day deposit is required for both daily and overnight rentals, including the $25 pet deposit if applicable. Deposits must be received 7 days prior to arrival. Check or credit card is accepted for all deposits and payments. If paying by credit card, your card will be charged for the balance due on the day of departure. If paying by check, payment is required in full by the date of your arrival. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before scheduled arrival date in order to receive a refund. Cancellation within 48 hours of your arrival date will forfeit your deposit.

Occupancy
For overnight rentals, Orchard House has 10 twin beds and 3 Queen sleeper sofas; Sarah’s Gatehouse has 2 Queen beds and 2 Queen sleeper sofas; Alma’s Cottage has 1 Queen sleeper sofa, and Hilary’s House has 1 Queen bed and 1 Queen sleeper sofa.

For daily rentals, Orchard House will accomodate groups of 25-30 people; Sarah’s Gatehouse will accommodate groups of 12-15 people; Alma’s Cottage will accommodate groups of 6-8 people, and Hilary’s house will accommodate groups of 6-8 people.

Children
Children are always welcome to stay with us at Mountain Spring Retreat. We feature board games and coloring books for children of all ages in each property.

Pets
Dogs are welcome to stay with us; no cats, please. An additional $25 per animal, per day is required if your dog(s) will be joining you. We ask that you be courteous of other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Please remember also to clean up after your pet, and discard pet waste in the outdoor cans. Scoopers are provided in each cottage to help you clean up after your dog.

Smoking
Cigarette, cigar and pipe smoking are allowed on the grounds of Mountain Spring Retreat but NOT in the homes. Please use the designated trash bins when extinguishing your smoking material.
